Thetas joined together to support the Theta Forever Fund by representing every US state and Canada on GivingTuesday. Because we turned the US & Canada Theta Gold, $38,850 was added to our total! Gamma Chapter at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN, was established in 1874. Lady Columbia, the first female personification of the United States, was the inspiration for the name of many American places and institutions, including the District that defines the area our DMV (D.C./Maryland/Virginia) Thetas call home, and where we gathered for Grand Convention this past July. Thanks to these DMV Thetas, between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. EST, every gift up to $3,650 was matched dollar-for-dollar.
